The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on Wednesday berated European countries over their delay to impose stiffer sanctions on Russia’s oil and gas, accusing Europe of being more concerned about business losses than war crimes going on in Ukraine.
The racist Zelensky, speaking to the Irish parliament, decried that new “rhetoric” about sanctions had emerged, threatening: “but I cannot tolerate any indecisiveness after everything we have gone through in Ukraine and everything that Russian troops have done.”
Zelensky maintained: “We still need to convince Europe that Russian oil cannot feed the Russian military machine with new sources of funding.” He demanded total exclusion of Russian banks from Western finance.
Zelensky in his video speech to the Irish parliament requested economic, military, and diplomatic support against Russia.
The Ukrainian president narrated the incessant attacks Russian forces on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine including in the devastated city of Mariupol, where, according to him, “even melt snow was no longer available for people to use as drinking water.”
He lamented that Russia has intensified bombardment and siege, using “hunger as a weapon” against Ukrainians, extending to countries in North Africa and Asia, which depended on cereals imports from Ukraine.
Zelensky declared: “The country doing this doesn’t deserve to be in the circle of civilised countries.
“Russia hasn’t yet abandoned their plans. “They are still looking to subdue and occupy all Ukraine’s people.”
The Ukrainian leader, therefore, blasted European leaders: “The only thing we are lacking is the principled approach of some leaders — political leaders, business leaders — who still think that war and war crimes are not as horrific as financial losses.”
