Woman reportedly slumps, dies after receiving news of her son's death on his way back from NYSC camp

A woman has slump and dies after receiving news of his son Christian Ugbede Abuka, who passed on in an auto crash two days after he completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Kwara State.

It was gathered that Christian collected his NYSC certificate on Thursday, May 25, 2025. The accident was said to have occurred in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State on Sunday, May 28.

His ailing mother, who was eagerly expecting him, slumped and died after receiving news of his death.
