The Nigerian Union of Journalists, the Nigeria Guild of Editors, the Murtala Muhammed Foundation, the Council of Traditional Rulers, Rolls Royce Company, and the Honda Place are among 241 companies and organizations the office of the National Security Adviser has invited to appear before a probe panel between January 12 and 26 with respect to the on-going $2.1 billion arms purchase probe.
Two bureaux de change, agro-based companies, law firms, and hospitals, are among others whom a public notice released Friday invited to come armed with their particulars of incorporation, contract papers, and payment receipts from the ONSA under retired Col. Sambo Dasuki.
Other companies, organisations, and individuals whose names aren’t in the list but have had dealings with the ONSA between 2011 and 2014 are also invited.
“…They should please endeavour to appear before the committee anytime within the stated period at the Office of the National Security Adviser’s Complex, 3 Arms Zone, Abuja,” the release stated, adding ““Your prompt appearance before the committee would be wise to avoid any embarrassment.”

The former NSA has been alleged to have thrown the arms vote around his circle of cronies, PDP stalwarts, and family members. President Muhammadu Buhari has since October launched the arms deal probe by arresting Dasuki three times in spite of court orders granting him bail.
