Anthony Joshua reportedly injured in fatal road crash on Lagos–Ibadan expressway

World-renowned boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, was reportedly involved in a ghastly motor accident around noon on Monday along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, sparking widespread concern among fans and the public.

According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred near the Sagamu Interchange while the boxer was travelling towards Ogun State. Sources said the crash involved vehicles conveying Joshua and members of his entourage, including some expatriates.

It was further reported that the accident resulted in fatalities, with some of the expatriates said to have lost their lives in the incident. However, details surrounding the circumstances of the crash and the exact number of casualties remain sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
