Education minister orders UNIUYO to revise VC advert amidst discrimination claims
The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has directed the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) to withdraw its current Vice-Chancellor advertisement and publish a revised version that is inclusive. This follows a protest and strike threat from clinical lecturers, who argued the initial requirements unfairly excluded medical professionals holding fellowships.
