Expert in the telecommunications support and engineering services sub-sector, Engr. Festus Akinpelu, has re-emphasized the need for idustry best practice and quality service delivery in the telecommunications and engineering sectors in the year 2019.
Engr. Akinpelu, MD/CEO, Pilot Science Company Limited (PSCL) made this call at a dinner organised by the company recently at the Ethnic Heritage Centre, Ikoyi to mark his company’s end of year working activities.
Akinpelu noted that his company will not offer any service that is short of quality standard, adding that best practice and timely delivery have always been the company’s trade mark in her past 16 years of operation.
The PSCL boss who also expressed gratitude to God with a praise song in his local dialect, acknowledged that the success recorded so far in his company was achieved by the divine involvement of the Almighty God.
He attributed the breakthroughs of PSCL in 2018 to the excellent performance of his staff, noting that they are the best team of staff the company has ever had.
Also speaking, Ms. Halimat Badamasi, Acting Business Head/Commercial Manager, PSCL, who expressed her delight at the occasion, also assured that the company would unveil her prospective service packages for clients in 2019.
Participants at the gathering were thrilled with varieties of music, local and continental dishes and drinks, as well as other side attractions to mark the occasion in grande style. Some members of staff of the company were also honored with awards for their outstanding performance in the company in the year 2018.
Among the award wining members of staff was Engr. Olanrewaju Ishola, Regional Business Head, PSCL, Abuja, who emerged ‘Best Performing staff of the Year’. He expressed amazement and gratitude over the development, noting that it was the least of his expectation from the company, having rarely spent a year in the company’s employment.
Present at the dinner party to grace the occasion were prominent dignitaries including Otunba Abayomi Ainenehi, Fiwagboye of Ibese Kingdom; Mr. Tolu Adesalu; Mr, Dapo Awoliyi, MD, Africa Energy Solutions Limited, among other dignitaries.
Otunba Ainenehi, who is also the Managing Director of Duke ‘N’ Paul Signs Systems Limited, expressed his excitement and felicitation with PSCL, describing the occasion as being worthwhile to end the year’s commercial activities. He also applauded Engr. Akinpelu for his rare initiative and success so far in business.
