Action resumes across Europe and Nigerian players are not left out in the games.

England:

National Daily gathered that Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi were on parade as Leicester city forced newly promoted side Huddersfield to a 1-1 draw. Ndidi played all 90minutes while Iheanacho lasted for  69th minutes before he was replaced by Shinji Okazaki, meanwhile, Ahmed Musa was not dressed for the game.

Isaac Success was on the bench throughout 90 minutes as Hornet loss 0-6 to Manchester city.

National Daily learnt that in the championship, former Fulham midfielder Omatsone Aluko played the whole duration of the game as Reading held Brentford to a 1-1 draw.

Sheyi Ojo was on for 90 minutes as Fulham loss 2-1 to Burton Albion. The duo of Ola Aina and Fikayo Tomori were in action for Hull city as they were held to a 1-1 by visiting Sunderland. Fred Onyedima was in action for the whole duration in the colour of Millwall as they defeated Leeds united 1-0.

Germany:

Leon Balogun was in action for Mainz 05 as they lost 4-0 to  German champion at Allianz Arena.

Former Golden Eaglets striker was on the bench throughout in Wolfsburg 0-1 loss to Stuggart.

In Russia, Super Eagles striker Aaron Samuel Olanare watched from the bench as CSKA Moscow beats FC Rostov 2-0.

The duo of Henry Onyekuru and Abduljeel Ajagun were on target for their respective club in Belgium in the battle of two Nigeria.

Ajagun was on target for Kortrijk in the 62nd minutes before he was replaced by Elohim Rolland in the 77th minutes while Onyekuru was introduced in the 64th minutes and he netted 11 minutes later.

In the Italia B, little known Jerry Uche Mbakaogu equalized for Carpi in their 1-1 draw against Cremonese.

Efe Ambrose was in action for Hibernian in their 2-2 draw against Motherwell in Scottish league.
