Johann Wolfgang a widely regarded German writer said “the man with insight…comes nearest to perfection”, and perfection is a title that closely describes Olumide Ogunade professionally known as Id Cabasa, a veteran music producer with the notch of the set off of the careers of several renown music artists like Olamide, 9ice, Lord of Ajasa and more on his belt.
The co-founder of coded Tunes record label that signed music artists the like of Reminise, 2shotz, Banky W, Ajayi Brovas, Seriki, 9ice and Olamide, is by many known for his on-the-spot molding of penetrating maxims that show his unique creativity and keen insight into life’s issues and the music industry he has so bloomed in.
Ordained a Minister of the Global Impact Church on December 29, 2013. Cabasa is one of the few artists candid about his faith. He has engaged in several public speaking platforms where he’s shed light on the lines between his faith and Art.
One of these events was the Eezy Global Mindustry Conference early this year where he repeatedly asserted that “God is not contending with the Secular but with carnality.” Aligning himself with the other few artists like Chris Prat and Denzel Washington who have also been bold and outspoken concerning their faith.

While being featured on Teepsal Entertainment, a TV show on January 23, 2024, Cabasa stated that “creativity is not you creating something that never existed before, but creating from what already exists” and “creativity in music production is listening to something you like and imagining what the producer did not include that he was supposed to.”
This similar unique style of creativity he displayed in the remake of the all-time favorite Photocopy by 9ice, reconstructing its sound and crowning it with Vector a proven master in the Rap art and in his reimagining of the classic Olufunmi by Style Plus using relatively new, scorching artists Joeboy, Fireboy, Odumodu Black and the distinct singer Bovi.
With over 16 years of unique creativity in the production of music on his record, Id Cabasa has proven himself to be one of the greatest music producers to rise in Africa.
