Jetour Nigeria has officially launched the Jetour X50, marking the entry of the compact SUV into the Nigerian market as the brand continues its expansion in the country.

The X50 is the latest addition to Jetour’s lineup of modern, luxury-inspired vehicles designed to meet the demands of safety-conscious and tech-savvy Nigerian drivers.

Positioned as a stylish and intelligent compact SUV, the Jetour X50 is packed with advanced safety technologies, comfort-enhancing systems, and digital convenience features.

It aims to strike a balance between performance, aesthetics, and affordability — a trademark of the Jetour brand, whose name in Chinese means “convenient travel.”

Among the standout safety features of the new model are multiple airbags positioned for the driver, front passenger, and side seats, offering comprehensive protection in the event of a collision.

The vehicle also integrates essential systems such as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), and Auto Hold, which ensure driver confidence and comfort during stop-and-go traffic or on steep inclines.

To make navigation and maneuvering safer and easier, the Jetour X50 includes a 360° Surround View Camera, Parking Sensors, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Change Assist, and Rear Traffic Alert. These systems help eliminate blind spots and provide greater awareness of the vehicle’s surroundings — critical features for urban driving in congested environments.

For added convenience, the SUV comes equipped with Smart Entry, a Push-to-Start button, and an 18-inch alloy wheel setup.

Drivers can also choose between three driving modes — Eco, Normal, and Sport — depending on their preferred driving style or road conditions. A built-in Cruise Control system supports longer journeys with reduced fatigue.

Inside, the Jetour X50 offers a premium in-car tech experience through a 10.5-inch infotainment display.

The system supports Bluetooth, voice command, phone mirroring, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and even wireless phone charging. Other comfort features include an optional electric sunroof, automatic climate control with rear vents, power driver seat, leather upholstery, six-speaker audio system, auto-folding side mirrors, and LED fog lamps.

Under the hood, the X50 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine delivering 115kW of power and 230Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) system, offering a smoother ride and improved fuel economy — a valuable feature for Nigerian roads and fuel-conscious buyers.

The compact SUV has an aerodynamic design with dimensions measuring 4,397mm in length, 1,841mm in width, and 1,652mm in height, offering a spacious interior while remaining city-friendly in size.

Jetour Nigeria assures prospective buyers that the X50 will be supported by a strong after-sales structure, including access to genuine spare parts and professional technical support.

This reinforces Jetour’s commitment to building trust and providing long-term value in the Nigerian automobile market.

As competition in the compact SUV segment intensifies, the Jetour X50 positions itself as a compelling choice for families, professionals, and adventure enthusiasts seeking style, safety, and smart features — all at a competitive price point.
