The Kano State Government has awarded a N20 billion contract for the construction of two vital township roads designed to improve transportation and stimulate economic activities in the region.

Alhaji Marwan Ahmed, the Commissioner for Works and Housing, made the announcement in a telephone interview with the press on Monday.

Ahmed revealed that the government is allocating N13.3 billion for the construction of the Rogo-Bari-Falgore-Mahangi Roads in Rogo Local Government Area, and N6.9 billion for the Panda-Hamdullahi-Albasu-Salkwayan Dutse Roads in Albasu Local Government Area.

These roads have been prioritized for their significant economic and social impact, aimed at improving the quality of life for residents in the affected local government areas.

Ahmed explained that once completed, the new roads will ease travel, improve the driving experience, and facilitate smoother business operations.
