“A Federal High Court in Ibadan on Monday ordered one Sadeeq Jimoh, 52, to be remanded in a correctional centre after pleading guilty to peddling 920gm of Cannabis.”

Otunla stated that NDLEA operatives acted on credible intelligence reports from their informants, which indicated that Jimoh was in possession of a prohibited narcotic substance.
“The NDLEA operatives swung into action and arrested the defendant in possession of a bag containing 920gm of Cannabis sativa,” he told the court.
The NDLEA Counsel further explained that the offense committed by Jimoh is in violation of Section 11 (C) of the NDLEA Act Cap n30 Law of the Federation, 2004.
