Nigerian bags first class in Mechanical Engineering at Russian varsity

Faith Ebunoluwa Ojedokun, an indigene Oyo state from Ilero, Kajola Local Government area bags First Class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering at Belgorod State University Russia.

Faith made Nigeria proud in one of the oldest and the largest university in the Belgorod region.

The university has 25,000 students from 85 regions of Russia, 1,800 foreign students from 76 countries, 72 institutions and faculty, 2 branches, 98 departments and 74 research centers and laboratories. It is a well rated university in the whole of Europe.

Faith, who was admitted into the prestigious university in the year 2018, has always been an academic genius.

Her academic prodigy developed since her early age; winning her an award at her alma mater, The International School, University of Ibadan.

In an interview, her father Mr. Gbenga Ojedokun, who is a Research Administrator at University of Ibadan, said “Faith has consistently demonstrated uncanny academic abilities from birth. She has always been among the most studious and dedicated students in all of the schools she attended.”

According to him, Faith always focused on her studies and the pursuit of academic excellence, which has paid off now. I sincerely thank God for His grace upon my daughter’.

Faith attended Staff School, University of Ibadan, Nigeria for her primary education and The International School, University of Ibadan, Nigeria for her secondary school education.

On her future plans, Faith who has the mastery of both English and Russian Languages, said she would most certainly love to proceed on postgraduate studies after which she eagerly hopes to return and contribute her quota to the development of her fatherland, Nigeria.
