“This tree plantation will succeed in Ogun state because we are in collaboration with the ministry of forestry that will supervise all the trees and make sure it serves their purpose.

“Government cannot do it alone; we just have to come together to help out,” Aremu added.

Responding, Adeyanju appreciated the club for honoring him, saying it made him feel loved.

”I have a burning desire to create awareness of Polio disease in Africa. Polio is just like an epidemic in Africa.

”I biked to the remote areas and through harsh terrains to create awareness for the End Polio Now global campaign and has raised funds to address community problems,” he said.

.He thanked them for planting trees in his honor, saying it’s one of the seven areas of focus of the club to protect the environment.

Also speaking, Mr. Olusoji Odusile, deputy Academic Director of BucksWood School Nigeria, said tree planting was a way of minimizing global warming.

”I just want to say that this culture should not stop, if we have trees planted all over, it also beautifies the environment.
