Uncovering Genevieve Nnaji’s secret lovers

Emmanuel Adebayor is known for his footie tricks and gifts, while Genevieve is one of the queens of Africa’s screen.  Bloggers, recently, had a field day chewing on the idea that these two items, might be dating and seeing each other. And this rounour is tied to the footballer’s comment on the actress’ Instagram page: “baby call me or…”, that’s the post from Adebayor that earned him Genevieve’s secret lover title.

“Emmanuel has a daughter with his babymama, though not married, they live together as a couple, and he sometimes talks about how he cherishes her despite not taking her to the alter yet.

I am not saying Emmanuel cant do some away game, you know (laughs), but of course not with Genevieve. He is in a relationship, she wont! Thank you. (laughs, more)” some social media commentor remarks.

Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor is a Togolese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir. He previously played for English clubs Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, as well as French sides Metz and Monaco and Spanish team Real Madrid. He was voted African Footballer of the Year for 2008 while playing at Arsenal.

Adebayor represented the Togo national team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, the country’s debut, and to date only, appearance at the World Cup. In January 2010, Adebayor was one of the players involved when the Togo team’s bus came under gunfire on the way to the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, after which he retired from national team duty. In 2013, he returned to the Togo team for the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa, where he helped them to qualify for the quarter-finals. He is currently Togo’s all-time top goalscorer with 31 goals.

Away from Adebayor, let’s talk about another supposed sweet heart, D’banj. Who can forget the circus of media reports regarding D’banj’s and Nigerian star actress, Genevieve Nnaji? It all began when in May 2010 the ‘Oliver Twist’ singer featured the Ije actress in the video of his popular song, ‘Fall in Love’. Reports over whether they got involved then or later have not ceased even six years after. According to sources, the relationship turned out as a brief affair but many still can’t stop linking Genny to D’banj.

In fact, those close to the Kokomaster claim they made up at some point in 2013, adding that nothing can be ruled out between the two successful yet unmarried entertainers. This rumour went on until, D’banj went into many other rumours of secret affairs: Nadia Buari (The Ghanaian actress, 2010- 2011), Jennifer Obayuwana Jennifer Obayuwana, (longest relationship rumour of them all, daughter of multi-millionaire Polo boss, John Obayuwana). Bonang Matheba Bonang Matheba (South African TV host, and radio personality) and Adama Indimi, (daughter of Maiduguri based multi-millionaire, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi, who is also General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida’s in-law. Her father owns Oriental Energy Resources).

All these rumours ended with the truth of Dbanj finally getting married in secret. “D’banj has given so much information about himself to the public and he deserves to keep some things private and this is one of those things. He is not worried about losing female fans; he just wants his marriage and the impending white wedding off public radar” someone commented from Dbanj’s camp.

So after all rumors, secretes, stories rise and settle, we are left with one sexy, single-mother Genevieve.
