Versat Automobile Limited has formally announced its entry into the Nigerian automotive market, unveiling a new vehicle company positioned to deliver reliable, durable and value-driven mobility solutions tailored to Nigeria’s operating environment.
Established in 2024, Versat Automobile Ltd. said its market strategy is built around performance, durability, quality, reliability, strong customer support and long-term value creation, with a focus on supporting businesses operating across critical sectors of the economy.
As part of its official market debut, the company introduced C&C Trucks to Nigeria, formally launching the heavy-duty truck range on February 6, 2026.
The launch marks Versat’s first major step toward building a strong footprint in the heavy-duty truck segment, targeting key industries such as logistics, construction, mining and infrastructure development.
Speaking at the launch, Executive Director of Versat Automobile Ltd., Alhaji Francis Ogboro, described the company’s entry into the market as a long-term commitment to Nigerian businesses.
“Our entry into the Nigerian market marks the beginning of a long-term commitment to supporting businesses with dependable, high-performance commercial vehicles,” Ogboro said.
“Through Versat Automobile Ltd., we are focused on delivering trucks that are built for Nigeria, supported locally, and designed to create sustainable value for our customers.”

The trucks are engineered to withstand Nigeria’s challenging road conditions, with durability, safety and operational efficiency forming the core of their design.
Versat noted that the C&C Trucks range is designed to offer consistent performance while reducing total cost of ownership, positioning the vehicles as practical and dependable partners for fleet owners and operators. Emphasis is placed on reliability, ease of maintenance and long-term productivity.
At launch, Versat Automobile’s portfolio features the C&C Model U400 6×4, available in Tractor, Dump Truck and Chassis variants. The U400 6×4 is designed for demanding applications and heavy-load operations.
The truck is powered by a high-output 400-horsepower engine producing up to 1,800Nm of torque, delivering strong pulling power and stable performance in challenging environments. It features a high-strength steel chassis, reinforced components and robust axles to ensure durability on rough terrain.
Optimised fuel efficiency, achieved through next-generation engine combustion systems and high-efficiency turbocharger technology, is expected to support lower operating costs and faster return on investment for operators.
With increased ground clearance, enhanced cooling systems and high load-bearing capacity, the U400 6×4 is positioned as a reliable solution for both on-road and off-road operations within Nigeria.
Central to Versat Automobile Ltd.’s market offering is a strong emphasis on after-sales service.
The company said customers will benefit from a growing nationwide service network, readily available genuine spare parts, factory-trained technicians and structured maintenance programmes designed to minimise downtime and maximise fleet uptime throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
The C&C Truck range is being delivered through a strategic partnership with C&C Trucks, a globally experienced commercial vehicle manufacturer with a strong track record in heavy-duty truck production.
Speaking on the partnership, C&C Trucks representative, Mr. Jin Haibo, said the collaboration would bring globally proven truck technology adapted to local operating needs.
“C&C Trucks is proud to partner with Versat Automobile Ltd. to introduce our heavy-duty truck solutions to the Nigerian market,” Haibo said.
