Yobe university ASUU strike continues over unmet demands
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Yobe State University chapter, confirmed its strike, which began on July 11, remains active. While acknowledging the N70,000 minimum wage adjustment, the union stated other key demands, including the implementation of promotions and payment of arrears from 2018 to 2025, remain unaddressed by the state government.
