Pique confirms decision to retire from Spain national team
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has confirmed his decision to retire from Spain national team and focus on his club career at Camp Nou,National Daily gathered.
“I spoke with Luis Enrique and told him that my decision has been made. I had a really nice time with the Spain team, and I’m very happy to have been part of the success.” said Pique.
Back in 2016, the Barcelona defender said he would quit Spain national team after 2018 World Cup due to controversy.
