Environment Minister, Ibrahim Jubril Resigns
The Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Jibrin has resigned from the Federal Cabinet. The announcement of his resignation was made at the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting at the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister’s resignation is coming few days after his declaration as the 13th Emir of Nasarawa Town in Nasarawa Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, by the Nasarawa Emirate Council.
The Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Illiya Osegba, had announced the selection Jibrin as Emir last Thursday at the Government House, Lafia. The appointment of the new Ekir has been approved by Governor Tanko Al Makura.
