The Tinubu Nigeria Fronts (TNF), an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, says it plans to woo youths from opposition political parties into its camp for the 2023 General Elections.

Mr Emmanuel Ojo, TFN Director-General, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, on Monday in Abuja.

Ojo said the aim was to further boost the chances of the APC and its Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming presidential election.

“We are working on wooing youths, especially those in the grassroots from opposition parties to our camp, to further boost our chances in the coming election.

“That we are winning the election is by God’s grace guaranteed, but we want a win with a large incontestable margin, that is why we are doing this.”

Ojo, while noting that youth constituted the larger percentage of the country’s voting population, said the TNF’s desire was to give them capacity and enablement, so they could join forces with government, the community and the people for sustainable development.

He added that the ultimate goal was to change the country from a consuming economy to a producing economy, and improve the living standard of all Nigerians.

He noted that the way around this, was already spelt out in Tinubu’s economic blue print as contained in his action plan for a better Nigeria.

“We are for youth involvement in governance, our believe is that when youths are productively engaged, they will not be involved in anti-social activities,” Ojo said.

He added that the TNF already had its tentacles spread across all states of the federation, and so was working to ensure it delivered four million votes for the APC and its presidential candidate in 2023.

According to Ojo, the TNF is already in talks with the leadership of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), on how to move to states and the grassroots, to mobilise youths for the party ahead of the election.

He said the group’s efforts were already yielding positive fruits, as some political big wigs from across the conutry, were already joining its fold to work for the actualisation of a Tinubu presidency in 2023.

He tasked TNF members to brace up, saying the work ahead was enormous and needed full commitment.

“We already have national strength, we are not local, we stand out because we are represented across the federation, and we have a formidable team in most states,” he said.

He added that TNF members would be assigned strategic responsibilities as the week progressed, to ensure a smooth campaign and task accomplishment.

“We are at the peak of political activities and we can’t afford to relent, we have to up our game to ensure we deliver our principal come 2023,” Ojo stressed.
