A Federal High court in Abeokuta, Ogun state has nullified the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary won by Ladi Adebutu as the party’s gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 general election.
National Daily recalls that the Ogun PDP held three parallel primaries with one producing Adebutu as governorship candidate.
The Presiding Judge O.O. Oguntoibo called for the primary to be rerun within 14 days after his expiration.
The court declare that all primaries held by the PDP in the state did not comply with the provisions of the election law.
