My administration won’t be among those that defraud kogi, says new Kogi gov

The newly elected Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has declared his determination to run a corrupt-free government as he promised to invent technology that will fight corruption.
Bello who disclosed this while given his acceptances speech shortly after his swearing-in said ” the next generation of Kogi State will not count my name among the administrations that defrauded the state funds.
“My administration will have zero tolerance for corruption, impunity, and corrupt practices. I will block all leakages to corruption in this state, we will invent a new technology to fight corruption “.
He said he would run the blueprint set by his committee’s along with civil servants to charge and checkmate the activities of the state civil servants in Kogi
Bello, who promised not use his office to service anyone or group of people, said he would used the methodology of fairness and equity to rule the state, as he borrowed from the popular diction of president Mohammadu Buhari “I belong to no one,I belong to all.
The new governor called on the citizens of the state to embrace peace and cooperate with his administration in the task of moving the state forward.
While extending hands of fellowship to everyone in the state,the Governor promised not to fail or disappoint the people of the state adding that “we are ready for action, take of from me,we Will not fail.
He stressed that he  will work Hand in hand with the judiciary and Legislature to institute the rule of law as the cardinal principle upon which his administration will derive his authority.
He said he will take  possible and decisive action that will rescues Kogi State, promised that he will Commence the payment of worker salary soon as possible.
Yahaya Bello was inaugurated as the fourth civilian governor Kogi state without any Deputy to the Governor as the party is yet to announce a replacement for Honourable James Faleke who has turned down the position and currently in the tribunal asking to be declared winner of the governorship election of November 21 2015.
The oath taking and swearing in ceremony held at the Confluence  Stadium in Lokoja was attended by the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress and Chief John Odige Oyegun,Communication Minister Barrister Adebayo Shitu,Nassarawa state Governor Tanko Almakura and his Benue State counterpart Douglas Otom.
The state chief judge Justice Nasir Ajana who administered the oath of allegiance and that of oath of office.
