By FOLA ABIOLA

IT is no more news that the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was sworn in as Governor of Osun State on November 27, 2014, and since then has been running the State affairs without Kitchen Cabinet but rather with his Deputy, the Chief of Staff, the Secretary to the state government (SSG) and the Permanent Secretaries in the State.
It will also be recalled that the Governor dissolved his Cabinet Members on the 26th November 2014 before he was sworn in for the second term in office.
Governor Aregbesola, according to inside source had it in mind to announce members of his Cabinet last year December 2015 as a New Year gift to Politicians in the State but it was a shock to many that the Governor changed his mind. Though no one have the list of members to be announced but close to the Governor’schest, they are only aware through the Governor’s body language that names of the Cabinet will be announced including the Special Advisers that will work with him.
There is insinuation within the Governor’s caucus that anytime from now names of Commissioners and Special Advisers will be sent to the State House of Assembly, as the Assembly just reconvene last week Monday 11th January, 2016.
That is not all; we also learnt that Governor Aregbesola has made up his mind to dissolve the Executive Secretaries in the State to conduct Local Government election.
It will be recalled that the Governor has been running the State by appointing Executive Secretaries to run the affairs of the Local Government since he assumed office for the second term.
Meanwhile Politicians in the State are not happy with the Governor to have not come out with the list of Commissioners and some Political seats for the party to enjoy the dividend of democracy as well as their followers, which they believed it’s a big slap on them. Our investigation revealed that, that is why civil servants are being sponsored against the Governor.
