The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its recent remarks regarding the Nigerian Society of Engineers’ (NSE) visit to assess infrastructure projects in the state.
In a statement issued by PDP Chairman Sunday Bisi, the party condemned the APC’s attempt to undermine the NSE’s praise of the state government’s infrastructure initiatives.
Bisi characterized the APC’s actions as a desperate attempt to regain relevance and discredit the positive feedback received from a respected professional body.
“We are not surprised by the APC’s efforts to discredit the NSE’s commendation of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s projects,” Bisi stated. “Their attack on the NSE reflects their fear of the progress being made in Osun State.”
Bisi dismissed the APC’s criticisms as a futile effort to tarnish the reputation of the NSE, which has previously acknowledged similar infrastructure achievements in other states.
“The NSE is a professional organization, not a political entity,” Bisi continued. “Their recognition of our projects underscores the high quality of our work.
Unlike the APC, which has been associated with substandard work and questionable assessments, we are confident in the excellence of our projects and are open to evaluation by experts.”
The PDP emphasized that Governor Adeleke remains focused on delivering quality projects for the benefit of the people of Osun State, undeterred by APC’s criticisms.

“Governor Adeleke will not be distracted by these tactics.
We will continue to implement and showcase high-quality projects,” Bisi added.
The PDP also advised the APC to concentrate on revitalizing its party rather than interfering in areas beyond its expertise.
“The APC should focus on repairing its own fractured party instead of trying to undermine our successes.
We have the mandate of the people and will not be swayed by their attempts,” Bisi concluded.
