Kylian Mbappe could end up at Arsenal ahead of Real Madrid if reports reaching National Daily can be trusted.
It has been reported that the 25-year-old would ‘willingly join’ the Gunners in a bid to follow in the footsteps of his hero Thierry Henry.
Arsenal have explored a deal for Frenchman after his potential move to Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain hit a stumbling block.
Mbappe, widely considered as one of the best strikers in world football, is seeking a new challenge and has long been linked with a switch to the Spanish capital.

But the player and his entourage are not satisfied with Real’s current offer and time is running out as Mbappe sees his PSG contract expire this summer.
The La Liga giants are continuing to negotiate a contract for Mbappe but have been unable to reach an agreement over his wages and any deal is someway off.
PSG still have an offer on the table for Mbappe should he wish to remain in Paris but they expect him to leave and do not want to be held to ransom over wages.
There is plenty of wider interest in Mbappe with Arsenal one of the clubs linked to the World Cup winner.
According to The Independent, Mbappe is open to joining the Gunners because he sees it as ‘appealing’ to follow the career path of his biggest hero, Henry.
However, the challenge is that the north Londoners do not want to break their wage structure to bring Mbappe. So, he would have to reduce his demands to secure any move.
Arsenal were one of many clubs linked with signing Mbappe after his breakout season at Monaco in 2016-17 – before he opted to move to PSG.
