200 Gunmen attack Kajuru, Kachia Villages
Gunmen have invaded Maro village in Kajuru Local Government of Kaduna State, burning many houses and injuring several persons.
Maro was one of the villages that came under attack two weeks ago.
Although the police are yet to confirm the full details of the attack, a source from the village was gathered to have said that the armed men numbering over 200 invaded the village early on Tuesday morning wielding dangerous weapons.
There are also reports of attacks in Kachia, however, the details are still sketchy at this time.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has condemned the renewed attacks in Kajuru and Kachia
The Governor in a statement through his spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, said the security agencies are working assiduously to contain the situation.
