2023 Presidency: Reactions as Senator Orji Kalu says APC will win 95% votes in Abia North (Video)
As Nigeria continues her onward march toward the 2023 general elections, reactions have begun trailing a recent statement made by All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Senatoar Orji Uzor Kalu regarding the chances of his party sweeping the majority of votes in his constituency, Abia North.
For those who are not aware, the Lawmaker recently concluded a tour of his Abia North Senatorial Constituency in the Southeastern region of the country, where he held several meetings with his constituents while inspecting some of the projects executed in several areas. Shortly after he visited Abia North, Senator Kalu took to Facebook to post a thank-you video to his people for the warm welcome he received throughout the tour.
However, during his thank-you speech, Senator Kalu expressed his confidence that based on the reception he got from the people, his party’s presidential flag bearer and other candidates running for electoral offices will sweep nothing less than 95 percent of the votes available in his constituency on Election Day.

Quite interestingly, Senator Kalu’s remarks drew a flurry of reactions from his followers on Facebook, with many of them trooping to the comments section to air their opinions.
While some persons praised the Senator for his good work in Abia North Senatorial Constituency, others, however, insisted that many people will be voting for individuals and not for any political party at the upcoming polls.
