Barca rules out Griezmann’s deal
Barcelona has ruled out the Griezmann option as a possible reinforcement of the template for the next market. In recent weeks the player’s environment contacted the club azulgrana to inform him of the contractual situation of the player, which next summer will see its termination clause is reduced for a time of 200 to 120 million. A price that could be affordable for Barcelona who already tried his signing last season. However, for the next market will not be possible. The dome of the club is very clear that the Griezmann moment has passed for Barcelona when last summer he made the decision not to sign and renew his contract with Atlético. That was the moment and now there is no option for a second chance.
“I’m already used to it and a little bit fed up, every year it’s the same so I’m used to it,” said Griezmann when asked about a new supposed interest of Barcelona in getting their services this summer. Do not forget the way he refused to sign for Barça, communicating his decision in a documentary produced by Piqué and without the culé official knew anything. The Griezmann chapter is totally closed in Can Barça no matter how many players like Umtiti have declared that they would like it to come.
The big goal to reinforce the lead is Luka Jovic. The technical secretariat is subjecting the Bosnian striker to a relentless mark. They follow him in his matches with Eintracht Frankfurt and also with his national team. In fact, Segura and Abidal were witnessing Portugal-Serbia yesterday. Jovic, although born in Bosnia, competes with this last selection.
