Harry Kane is reportedly prepared to sign a new contract at Tottenham. This move will become a reality if Bayern Munich fail to complete his transfer in less than two week’s time.

Bayern have previously suffered two failed bids which were short of Spurs’ £100m valuation for their all-time record goalscorer.

The Bundesliga giants are however expected to launch a third bid worth £85m. It is thought that the England captain is keen on Bayern’s transfer.

National Daily however learnt that Kane is now ready to remain at Spurs after August 13.

The claimed is that Kane feels it unfair on new head coach Ange Postecoglou to leave after Spurs’ opening Premier League game of the season.

The news is no doubt a huge boost for Tottenham fans especially Daniel Levy. Spurs chairman has been desperate to keep hold of the 30-year-old amid intense transfer speculation this summer.

Kane has less than a year left on his current deal and Bayern remain confident of landing his signature.

But they must significantly increase their offer for Kane and also include a buy-back clause for Spurs to consider a sale.

The likes of Manchester United were unwilling to meet Spur’s £100m asking price for Kane before now.

Paris-Saint Germain were closest to seal Kane’s transfer, but the 31-year-old had snubbed the Ligue 1 champions.
