Edo 2024: LP candidate, Akpata, felicitates with Muslims as Ramadan begins
The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the September 21 election in Edo State, Olumide Akpata, has expressed felicitation with all Muslims as they commence Ramadan.
Akpata, in a felicitation message, declared: “As the holy month of Ramadan commences, I extend my sincere felicitations to all Muslim Ummah.
“This sacred period holds immense spiritual significance, representing a time of introspection, devotion, and service to humanity.
“Ramadan is a month that transcends religious boundaries, teaching us all the virtues of compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith.
“As our Muslim Ummah embarks on this journey of fasting, may it strengthen their resolve to uplift our communities and contribute to the betterment of society.
“In the spirit of this holy month, let us come together as one people, united by our shared values of love, peace, and respect for all. Let us extend a helping hand to those in need, for in doing so, we honour the teachings of compassion that are universal to all faiths.
“May this Ramadan bring abundant blessings, renewed strength, and a deepened sense of purpose to the Muslim Ummah. May the spirit of Ramadan inspire us all to be beacons of hope, guiding our communities towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
