Edo 2024: LP presented most competent candidate – Aisha Yesufu

LP presented most competent candidate for the governorship election in Edo State, says Aisha Yesufu, as she berates preference for power rotation in the state.

Aisha Yesufu also chided attackers of Peter Obi.

“When Peter Obi called for calm he was and still is called all sorts of names and also accused of all sorts.

“Let me see what the energy would be like.

“For those who insisted it had to be Esan turn you got your wish.

“You blatantly stated that competence should not be the yardstick.

“Called Labour Party all sorts of names because they made the most competent their flag bearer rather than the one from a particular region.”

The most competent candidate the LP presented, Olumide Akpata, was third on the result sheet.
