FFK tweets Buhari’s response to his defection
Following his defection to the ruing APC September 16, Femi Fani-Kayode has begun tweeting for his new party, something he last did in 2013.
At the red-carpet ceremony the party organised for him at Aso Rock President Muhammadu Buhari, APC caretaker committee chairman Gov Mala Mai Buni and his counterpart Bello Matawalle stood by to usher him in.
“It was an honor and a privilege to visit President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, yesterday in the company of my dear friends and brothers, Governor Mala Mai-Buni and Governor Bello Matawalle, FFK tweeted September 17
“Mr. President received us very warmly and we had an excellent meeting. I intimated him of my decision to join the APC and he was delighted with the news.
“Now we move forward together to make our country a better place and to bring peace, love and stability to our shores. God bless Nigeria.”
For six years, the former PDP attack dog railed on Buhari, the APC as Muslim Brotherhood, swearing he would rather die than join the APC.
