She said the through a scheme known as ‘New Path,’ young entrepreneurs would be empowered, and that the through its charity project, it would feed and show kindness to people in underserved communities.
“In New Path, we will host training sessions, workshops and webinars for budding entrepreneurs to enhance their skills and prepare them for the business world. We will also give grants to promising participants to kick-start their businesses.
“Through the Isinmi Fund, we aim to carry on Tamilore’s legacy and implement her vision of contributing to health care.
“We will use the Isinmi Fund to subsidise the medical expenses of cancer patients aged below 25,” she said.
Mr Jeffrey Adebayo, co-founder, said Tamilore was working on a number of projects and initiatives touching so many lives, and so the foundation was to continue from where she stopped.
He said in the first year, the foundation would empower three people, provide scholarship for one person and fund the treatment of one cancer patient below the age of 25.
Mr Akin Areola, Tamilore’s father, said the foundation was to immortalise Tamilore for her good works in the 24 years she spent on earth.
He said his daughter touched so many lives and it was important to carry on her legacy.
