Four arrested for N1.6m football scam in Lagos
Four individuals have been arraigned before a Badagry Chief Magistrate’s Court on charges of felony, theft, and fraud.
The suspects, Zainab Abdullahi, Olanrewaju Mariam, Sulaimon Abdulatif, and Yehuza Jubril, are accused of defrauding a man of N1.6 million under the guise of securing him a football contract with Manchester City.
The alleged crime occurred between January and July in the Low-Cost Housing Estate area of Badagry.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Chief Magistrate granted each defendant bail at N1 million with two sureties in like sum.
The case has been adjourned to August 15 for hearing.
