Gov Buni declares Monday, Tuesday public holidays for Buhari’s visit to Yobe
Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has declared Monday and Tuesday public holidays for the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.
President Buhari is visiting Yobe State to inaugurate projects, which include Cargo Airport, Ultra-Modern Market and Maternal and Child Health Care Complex.
The Head of Service of the Yobe State Civil Service, Alhaji Garba Bilal, in a statement in Damaturu, explained that “ this is to enable civil servants and the general public to receive the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who will be in the state on a one-day State Visit to commission projects.”
The HoS stated that civil servants will resume duty on Wednesday.
