Gov Dapo Abiodun appoints Yomi Owope Senior Media Aide

Journalist and Communication Specialist Yomi Owope has been appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.

According to our source, “Yomi came highly recommended as a skilled speechwriter and strategist. He will be working directly with the Wife of the Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, on projects, programmes and policy”.

Mr Owope was, until his appointment, Director at IDM Lagos and founder of NXTGEN, a youth platform.

Recall Yomi Owope had served as Press Secretary to the wife of the former governor of Kwara State, Mrs Oluwatoyin Saraki.

Owope has a first degree in English from the University of Lagos and an M.Sc in Communications from Pan Atlantic University.
