How unarmed boy robbed bank in most unlikely of places in Lagos
A 16-year-old boy, who stole N340,000 from the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) at Ajah, Lagos, has been remanded by an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos after pleading guilty.
The Magistrate, Mrs K.O. Doja-Ojo, gave the ruling on Monday.
She sent Adekunle Ayomikun to a Juvenile Centre for Boys in Oregun.
While he attempted to escape finding his way with a lighter he had, the security guards saw him, so he ran back to the toilet and locked myself up again.
The guard however watched till daybreak, and recovered the sum of N340,000 from him.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Peace Chukwudi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Feb. 19, at 8:30p.m at FCMB Ajah branch.
The case was adjourned until April 15 for mention
