I terminated my contract with my club over financial problem-Ifeanyi Ifeanyi
Former CHAN Super Eagles player and Akwa United player , Ifeanyi Ifeanyi who last played for Akwa Ibom club before he left the shores of Nigeria, has terminated his contract with Etente Sportive Sètifienne,Algerian side over financial problems, National Daily learnt.
Ifeanyi told our reporter that the clubs account has been closed down by the former club president who’s presently in jail.
Former under-20 World Cup star explained that he has terminated his contract with Etente Sportive Sètifienne. They have financial problems and the essence of playing football is money.
“I decided to terminate the contract and as I speak with you, I am still in Algeria but hopefully by next week, I’ll be coming back to Nigeria.”
When asked what his next move would be, he said, “for now, I can’t say for sure. My next destination lies in the hands of God. Let’s see how it goes”.
