Ibenegbu signs deal with Rangers FC
Beach Eagles and CHAN Eagles star midfielder, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, ‘Mosquito’ who has put pen to paper for the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Rangers International F.C for the fast approaching season has said that he is in Enugu to help the seven time champions to a treble of triumphs, National Daily learnt.
The experienced midfield maestro who was a league champion with Enyimba in the just ended season said that he and other quality legs recruited to straighten the team hope to bring their experience to bear and help Rangers emerge victorious in all competitions it will be participating in.
“I am indeed very happy to be in Enugu to feature for one of the greatest clubs in the world, Rangers International F.C of Enugu. With what I have seen on ground, there is no way we can’t emerge victorious in the competitions we are competing for. The treble trophies are not negotiable,” stated the multiple medals winning creative midfielder.
It would be recalled that Rangers at the end of last season retained the services of twenty-two players from the lot that helped it to a third place finish in the end of the season NPFL Playoffs in Lagos while we can reveal that management has successfully engaged the services of ten fresh legs for the coming season.
