Kano residents advised of Navy shooting practice
The Kano State Police Command has informed the public about a two-day shooting practice by the Nigerian Navy Logistics College.
The exercise will take place on Tuesday, July 23rd and Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
It will be conducted at the shooting range in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area (LGA).
Residents of Dambazau, Gangaren Dutse, Tumfafi, Kakurum, and Dandalama villages, located within Dawakin Tofa and Ungogo LGAs, are advised to avoid the area during these times.
They are also urged to remain calm and not be alarmed by the sound of gunfire.

The Kano State Police Commissioner, CP Salman Dogo Garba, expressed his appreciation for the public’s cooperation and understanding.
The Kano Police Command emphasizes that this is a routine training exercise to enhance the preparedness of the Nigerian Navy personnel.
