Knee surgery: Amosun, Akeredolu, Fayemi, Shettima, visit Tinubu in London
The United Kingdom (UK) has turned a political pilgrimage as the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has been recovering from a knee surgery in London where he has been since July.
Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, currently Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial district in the National Assembly, was in London on Wednesday to pay homage to the APC national leader.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, were in London last week to see Tinubu.
Also, former Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State, currently, Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, including Hon. Usman Zanna, lawmaker representing Kaga/Gubio/Magumeri federal constituency, in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, were also in London to visit the APC national leader, Tinubu.
President Muhammadu Buhari had after the London Summit and medicals in London, visited Tinubu before departing the UK for Nigeria.
Other state actors that have been in London to visit Tinubu include Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Deputy Governor Olufemi Hamzat, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, among others.
