LASEMA reacts to Banana Island building collapse
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has reported that the six-storey building collapse that occurred at First Avenue, Banana Island on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, was “as a result of a truck that ran into the building.”
The agency in a statement posted on it’s Facebook page also confirmed that no lives was lost but while recovery operations are still ongoing, the agency is working to make sure no secondary incident occurs on the collapse site.
