LASG shuts down secretariat for 14 days

The Lagos State Government has excluded all essential services like fire service,Hospitals ,LAWMA,Media from the outfits affected by the curfew order issued by the federal government,as the secretariat remain shut for 14 days.

Sequel the pronouncement of His excellency Mr.Mohammadu Buhari-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on cessation of all movements to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Lagos state for 14 days with effect from 11pm 30th of March 2020, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered full closure of all offices in the state.
The order was communicated through the Head of Service,Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola in a circular numbered 043.
According to the circular,all offices are expected closed excluding Hospitals and other frontline responders in the management and control of the pandemic.
“Mr.Governor has directed a full closure of all offices in the secretariat,Alausa as well as other Government establishments state-wide for an initial period of 14days with effect from 11pm on Monday,30th March 2020.
“This directive excludes Hospitals and other frontline responders in the management and control of the pandemic,it excludes all essential services like fire,LAWMA,Media etc.”
The HoS Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola further enjoins all to comply  adequately on the directive as afforded in the circular.
