Lawal mourns late lawmaker in state assembly

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has expressed deep sorrow over the death of state assembly member, Aminu Kasuwar-Daji, who died on Wednesday.
The governor, in a statement in Gusau on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sulaiman Idris, extended his condolences to the leadership of Zamfara House of Assembly and family of the deceased.
Kasuwar-Daji died while he was asleep in the early hours of Wednesday at Kauran Namoda Local Government Area of the state.
A delegation of the state government, led by the Deputy Governor, Mani Mummuni, attended the burial of the late Aminu K/Daji at Kauran Namoda town.
“On behalf of the state government, we wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Speaker, Principal Officers of the state house of assembly, family, and people of Kauran Namoda South constituency.
“We pray that Allah (SWT) provides the bereaved family with the strength needed during this grieving period.
“We also pray to Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him eternal peace.”
