Rihanna is expecting her first child at 34. The father of her unborn baby is a rapper by the name of A$AP Rocky. He was born in 1988 in New York and grew up in Harlem in New York City but his father is Rihanna’s country man, from Barbados in the Caribbean Islands. Probably that is why she dated him because his father is from Barbados, her country of birth.

A$AP Rocky’s father was arrested for selling drugs and he went to prison, he left his family vulnerable. He died too early and A$AP’s brother ended up selling drugs and he was killed in Harlem. A$AP also started selling drugs in his teens year while moving around homeless shelters with his mother and sister. In 2004, A$AP Mayers was arrested and served two weeks in Rikers Island in New York for drug dealing, where he shared a cell with future rapper Casanova.

In 2013, A$AP released his debut studio album Long. Live. A$AP and it became number one on the Billboard 200 charts and became certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album’s lead single single, “F$#@n’ Problems” (featuring Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar), which was nominated for Best Rap Song at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

A$AP went on to release his second album, titled At. Long. Last. A$AP in 2015. That album became his second consecutive album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. They made him an instant millionaire.
