Obaseki not aware of Chief of Staff resignation – Edo govt
The Edo State Government has said that Governor Godwin Obaseki is not aware of the resignation of his Chief of Staff. Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, in a statement indicated that Governor Obaseki has not received any official resignation letter from his Chief of Staff, Mr. Taiwo Akerele.
The S.A. noted that the news of the resignation of the Chief of Staff was only circulated on the social media, adding that no official communication has been sent to the governor. He was of the view that the Chief of Staff is still in the service of the Edo State Government. He stated that any time the Governor receives resignation letter of the Chief of Staff, it would be accepted in good faith.
