One of the killers of Deborah Samuel exposed
One of the mobsters who beat and set ablaze a female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE), Sokoto, Deborah Samuel, has been exposed in a viral video that was recorded during the killing.
The Christian lady was accused of blasphemy for saying, “Which prophet?” in a voice note on a Whatsapp group.
The late Deborah said it in response to an earlier message the sender insisted everybody must share or be damned [perhaps in the name of a prophet], a trick social media users use to make a post viral.
The situation however degenerated, and efforts by the school authorities to save the students failed. She was stoned to death, and burned.
In the viral video, one of the mobsters whose face was conspicuous in the now viral video was seen holding a matchbox, and justifying why the student must die.

Meanwhile, while police authorities revealed that they have arrested two persons in connection with the gruesome killing of the female student, the identity of those arrested have not been revealed.
The Public Relations Officer of Sokoto State Police Command, ASP Sanusi Abubakar in briefing said everybody involved in the killing would be tracked down and arrested.
The school has been closed down by school authorities and policemen deployed for tight security coverage.
Commissioner of Police, Kola Okunlola, has appealed to members of the public to go about their lawful activities and not panic.
