Otuaro disowns group calling on Atiku to pick him as running mate
The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro has distanced himself from a group calling on the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to nominate him as his running mate.
Deacon Otuaro in a statement issued on his behalf by Pst. Arex Akemotubo, Director, media, and publicity of the KBO campaign organization stated that the said Statement by the Southern Nigeria Liberation Movement was issued without his knowledge.
He, therefore, calls on members of the public to completely disregard the statement.
He further stated that his main focus as the Deputy Governor of Delta State is to support His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeany Arthur Okowa to finish strong politically and in the provision of infrastructures for Delta State.
The Deputy Governor also stated that his commitment right now is to assist the governor in fulfilling our election promises to Deltans, he further said that he has no connection whatsoever with the group called Southern Nigeria Liberation Movement or any other group for that matter and calls on mischief makers to stay clear.
