PDP condemns shooting of #EndSARS protesters at Lekki toll gate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on its official twitter handle @OfficialPDPNig  condemned in very strong terms, the killing of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos as well as other parts of our country. “It is shocking that security agents and, in some cases, thugs, were reportedly deployed to end the lives of promising Nigerians,” the party declared.

There reports of attacks on peaceful #EndSARS protesters in several states of the country and the Federal capital Territory, Abuja, by armed thugs allegedly recruited by the government.

The Tuesday night killing at Lekki toll gate generate apprehension across the country. Fortunately, or unfortunately, various social media platforms were available for live coverage or reporting of attacks and killings across the country.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State government has ordered investigation into the shooting at the Lekki toll gate on Tuesday night.
