Peter Obi flags off national campaign in Nasarawa Saturday
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, flags off national campaign for the February 25, 2023, presidential election in Lafia, Nasarawa State, North Central, Nigeria, on Saturday.

Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed; LP National Chairman, Julius Abure; and members of the 1,234 campaign council were at the camapign on Saturday at about 11.00am.

The Director General of Obi’s campaign council, Doyin Okupe, said that the presidential campaign of the party will be massive in all the six geopolitical zones.
Okupe stated that Obi and Baba-Ahmed will crisscross the length and breadth of Nigeria from Nasarawa State to meet with their supporters popularly known as ‘Obidients’ in all parts of the country. ‘Obidients’ have held rallies in major cities to make a statement that they exist beyond social media,” Okupe said.
