Portable arraigned in Court over alleged assault
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been arraigned before the Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
Portable’s arraignment follows his recent altercation with officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Lands, an incident that led the state police command to declare him wanted. According to reports, the singer was accused of being involved in a violent attack on government personnel during an official duty.

After being declared wanted, Portable surrendered himself to law enforcement authorities on Wednesday at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Yaba, Lagos. From there, he was transferred to Abeokuta to face charges related to the alleged assault.
As of the time of this report, the court proceedings have been temporarily put on hold, with the case being stood down for another 30 minutes. Further details on the charges and potential legal outcomes are expected as the hearing progresses.
